Civilian-Soldier Alliance
www.civsol.org/
Founded in 2007, the Civilian Soldier Alliance is an organization of civilians working with veterans and active-duty service-members to build a GI resistance movement towards a just foreign policy. We work with and support service-members and veterans to withdraw military support from the occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan, supporting resistance within the military that empowers service members to have a voice and develop as leaders organizing for change. To help build this GI-led movement, we work with fellow civilians to build a reliable, committed and experienced support structure for military personnel.

Veterans for Peace
www.veteransforpeace.org/
The organization includes men and women veterans of all eras and duty stations spanning the Spanish Civil War (1936-39), World War II, the Korean, Vietnam, Gulf and current Iraq wars as well as other conflicts. Our collective experience tells us wars are easy to start and hard to stop and that those hurt are often the innocent. Thus, other means of problem solving are necessary.

G.I. RIghts Hotline
girightshotline.org/en/
Since 1994, the GI Rights Hotline has been providing free, confidential, and accurate information on US military regulations and practices to servicemembers, veterans, potential recruits, and their families. We are a consortium of more than twenty non-governmental, non-profit organizations located in more than fifteen states and in Germany. Some of our counselors are veterans, some are lawyers and some have decades of military counseling experience. We are in constant contact with each other to stay up-to-date on the latest military regulations and practices. We provide resources and counseling options. Many of us are not lawyers and therefore cannot give legal advice, but, in cases in which an attorney might be useful, we may be able to help you find one.

www.couragetoresist.org/x/
COURAGE TO RESIST is a group of concerned community members, veterans and military families that supports military objectors to illegal war and occupation and the policies of empire. Our People Power strategy weakens the pillars that maintain war and occupation in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere by supporting GI resistance, counter-recruitment and draft resistance, which cuts off the supply of troops. We are autonomous from and independent of any political organization, party or group.

Granny Peace Brigade Philadelphia
www.grannypeacebrigadephiladelphia.org/
A group of activists, including grandmothers and others, who are dedicated to ending war. On June 28, 2006, 11 of us went to the Military Recruitment Center in Philadelphia to "enlist" in the United States military, so that our grandchildren would not kill or be killed in Iraq. When we refused to leave without enlisting, we were arrested and charged with "Defiant Trespass". On December 1, 2006, Judge Deborah Griffin dismissed the charges against us, affirming the legality of our non-violent protest. We continue to meet together and resist war-making in Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere.
